Goals & Objectives

The primary reason for the program is to provide a positive, fun atmosphere where future Mustangs can demonstrate their school spirit at Jr. Mustang football games. This is a non-competitive cheer/spirit team with an emphasis on learning basic cheerleading skills, including proper movements, technique, sharpness, enthusiasm, spirit and etiquette. The program exists solely to enhance the student’s middle school experience, while they begin to learn basic skills required for cheerleading at the high school level.
